MEET OUR DEPARTMENT HEADS
Productions are collaborative in nature; it’s the combination of people, ideas, and disciplines that brings every project to life.
Here’s what our team members love most about working in production — in their own words.
‘SEPHORA’ INSIGHTS
Fat Mango Studios delivers the Sephora Insights campaign across Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and China, focusing on accurate skin tone representation. The project explores colour grading techniques and production workflows required to maintain consistency across diverse models and regional adaptations.
‘BAR SATHORN CROSS-CULTURE’ INSIGHTS
Fat Mango Studios produces Bar Sathorn Cross Culture, a social documentary series with W Bangkok. Following seasonal ingredients and local collaborations across Thailand, the project captures the journey behind each cocktail, translating complex stories into short-form content designed for digital audiences.
‘BAANYOK’ INSIGHTS
Fat Mango Studios collaborates with Travel + Leisure and Airbnb to document Baanyok, a boutique shophouse stay in Bangkok. Using a documentary approach, the project captures the space, its owner, and the surrounding Yaowarat neighbourhood, highlighting the character and value of homegrown hospitality.
‘WONDERFRUIT 2025’ INSIGHTS
Fat Mango Studios returns to produce Wonderfruit 2025’s 10-year anniversary aftermovie, taking a documentary-led approach. In collaboration with Wonderfruit and filmmaker Paul, the project introduces narration and focuses on capturing both large-scale performances and intimate human moments across the five-day festival.
‘OPPO x PUBG’ INSIGHTS
A behind-the-scenes look at the OPPO x PUBG production through the eyes of a project manager, exploring how location scouting, styling, scheduling, and client communication came together to support the shoot. A practical read on how strong coordination, clear communication, and trust help ambitious creative projects run smoothly.
‘VALORANT’ INSIGHTS
When international agencies produce in Thailand, they need more than a crew, they need a reliable local partner. Our collaboration with LA-based Good Boy for Riot Games showed how strong communication, scalable teams, and local expertise help global productions run smoothly from planning to delivery.
‘HOLDING U BACK’ INSIGHTS
In the second chapter of Holding U Back, our cinematographer James used black-and-white visuals, slow framing, and intentional lighting to reflect a bittersweet story of loss and moving on. Every choice led to one emotional moment, when acceptance arrives and the world finally returns to colour.
‘NEW BALANCE’ INSIGHTS
Working on New Balance across multiple markets reinforced three key lessons: clear communication, strong systems, and team trust. With shared visibility through ClickUp and a team that could step in anytime, the project stayed smooth and precise. When the foundation is solid, you can focus on delivering, and enjoying the process together.
‘WONDERFRUIT 2024’ INSIGHTS
Five days, 24/7, two major films, and a team pushed to their limits. Wonderfruit 2024 tested our endurance, adaptability, and trust in each other. From live editing on-site to capturing spontaneous moments, the experience proved that preparation matters, but resilience and team spirit matter even more.
‘STAY’ INSIGHTS
To bring a vibrant club scene to life, our DOP Ing focused on tight framing, dynamic lighting, and real on-set energy. With stylish casting, a live DJ, and thoughtful visual choices to separate dream and reality, the production transformed a controlled set into a space that feels full, alive, and authentic.
