Born on the island of Phuket, Fat Mango grew from a small collective of filmmakers who began by documenting travel and local stories with a restless curiosity for human experience. Founders Golf and Nico built their reputation on authenticity, crafting work that feels lived-in, immediate and emotionally direct.

Over the past years, the company has evolved from a short-form studio into a full-service production house with a cross-cultural team.

Western and Thai creatives, directors, cinematographers, and editors work side by side, united by a shared belief that the most powerful stories are told with sincerity, craft and respect for detail.

In 2026, Fat Mango enters a new chapter in producing everything from short form to feature films that carry the same kinetic energy and precision as their acclaimed short-form work, but with the depth and scope of cinematic storytelling. Championing bold voices from Southeast Asia and beyond, films rooted in place, yet resonant everywhere.

Driven by a filmmaker’s instinct rather than chasing commercial gains, Fat Mango approaches each project as a dialogue between craft and culture, character and image. They bring an agile, modern production mindset to a tradition of timeless storytelling—lean, collaborative, and open to discovery.

In our 2 office locations; Phuket and Bangkok, you will find a multicultural team of Western, Thai and Western-Thai Producers, Creatives, Directors, Photographers, Videographers, Editors and Colorists who at their core are just looking to tell authentic stories in a cool, creative way.

Fat Mango Videos is constantly looking at ways to innovatively streamline production without compromising on quality to allow for a more cost-effective video solution. Furthermore, this helps to speed up our workflow and deliver the final product to our clients quickly.

I think we can confidently say that we do things slightly differently here, but if you’re looking to make an impression – slightly different is good.
