Fat Mango Studios Social Media

Making social media work isn’t just about posting more. It’s about creating content that connects. At Fat Mango Studios, we focus on social media production in Thailand that feels relevant, engaging, and built for real audience attention. From eye-catching Instagram Reels and TikTok videos to behind-the-scenes storytelling and branded social content, we help brands stay dynamic, consistent, and culturally in tune.

Our approach to social media content creation in Bangkok combines creative storytelling with platform awareness, so the content doesn’t just look good, it works hard across the channels your audience actually uses.

JD x NEW BALANCE

New promotion

Fat Mango Studios collaborated with New Balance and JD Sports on a documentary-style branded content project that explores the intersection of retail, culture, and community. Designed as an insight-led piece, the project focuses on capturing how global brands connect with local audiences through physical spaces and shared experiences.

Approaching the project through a documentary lens, the team prioritised real interactions, environments, and consumer behaviour, translating them into a visually engaging and narrative-driven format. Rather than relying on traditional commercial storytelling, the content highlights authentic moments within retail spaces, offering a closer look at how brand identity is experienced on the ground.

Fat Mango Studios led the production, balancing a clean and elevated visual aesthetic with a natural, observational style. Through careful framing, pacing, and editing, the final piece reflects both the energy of the retail environment and the cultural relevance of the brand.

BAANYOK

Airbnb x Travel Leisure

This Fat Mango Insights article reflects on one of the quiet but essential truths of documentary filmmaking: trust comes before the camera. Centred around an interview with a participant from a dental charity programme, the piece explores what it means to work with someone unaccustomed to being filmed, and why patience matters just as much as production.

Rather than rushing into the shoot, the team first focused on building real human connection, sharing time, conversation, and trust before asking anything on camera. The article then follows how that foundation shaped the interview itself, allowing the subject to gradually relax and speak in his own rhythm.

More than a behind-the-scenes story, this piece offers insight into the deeper craft of documentary work: listening without assumptions, adapting to the person in front of you, and letting authenticity emerge naturally. It’s a thoughtful read for anyone interested in how documentary storytelling is built with care, respect, and presence.

BAR SATHORN

‘Cross Culture Series’

Fat Mango Studios partnered with W Bangkok to produce Bar Sathorn Cross Culture, an ongoing social documentary series that explores cocktail innovation through local ingredients and regional storytelling across Thailand.

Launched in early 2024, the series follows Marco, Head of Bar at Bar Sathorn, as he develops seasonal cocktail menus inspired by collaborations with local producers. Each cycle introduces new ingredients sourced from locations such as Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Dao, and Nonthaburi, highlighting sustainable practices and unique agricultural communities.

The project is designed specifically for social media, with each narrative condensed into three to four short-form videos. This requires a highly focused storytelling approach, balancing depth of content with audience attention span. Fat Mango Studios led the production across multiple locations, developing a consistent visual and editorial framework that ensures each episode remains engaging while retaining its documentary essence.

Through ongoing collaboration, the team refined a production formula centred around lighting, pacing, and narrative clarity, allowing each story to feel distinct while maintaining brand consistency.
