PUTTING YOURSELF FIRST
Working in the creative and production industry can be fast, demanding, and all-consuming, especially in a city like Bangkok, where ideas, opportunities, and pressure move at the same pace. In the middle of deadlines and deliverables, it’s easy to forget why you started in the first place.
One simple reminder from us often returns to is this: it is a miracle to be here, living this life. Not in a dramatic sense, but in a grounded one. To be creating, building, and learning through work you care about is already something worth acknowledging.
For many young entrepreneurs and creatives in Thailand’s production scene, self-sacrifice is worn like a badge of honour. Long hours, postponed rest, and putting yourself last can feel like part of the process. But treating yourself as an afterthought eventually dulls the very creativity you’re trying to grow and your mental well-being.
Putting yourself first doesn’t mean disengaging from your work. Whether that’s starting a new project, taking a pause, or trusting an instinct that feels risky, allowing yourself to feel and act honestly is part of sustainable creative growth.
