‘VALORANT’ INSIGHTS
When LA-based production company Good Boy approached Fat Mango for a Riot Games project in Bangkok, the collaboration reflected something we’re seeing more and more.
International agencies are looking for reliable local production partners in Thailand.
The project involved two parallel deliverables for a Valorant competition:
Fast-turnaround social media content
A longer-form feature piece
Our in-house team handled the social content to ensure speed and consistency, while a trusted external crew supported the feature production. This structure allowed us to stay agile while maintaining quality across both outputs.
For international partners, having a local team that can scale quickly and manage multiple deliverables at once is often essential.
Why local expertise matters
Producing in Thailand offers diverse locations, strong creative talent, and efficient production costs. But for overseas agencies, the real value of a local partner goes beyond logistics.
It’s about having a team that can:
Communicate clearly and confidently in English
Understand international workflows and expectations
Translate creative direction into local execution
Manage permits, vendors, and on-the-ground coordination
Solve problems quickly in real time
Working across time zones and cultures leaves little room for misalignment. Clear, proactive communication becomes part of the production process.
A scalable team you can trust
For the Riot Games project, part of the production required additional crew support. Instead of building a team from scratch, we worked with a network of long-term collaborators who already understand our standards and workflow.
This allows us to scale efficiently for larger or more complex projects while maintaining consistency.
For international agencies, this means:
Faster crew assembly
Reliable execution
Consistent production quality
A single point of coordination
Built on long-term relationships
At Fat Mango, many of our core team members have grown together over the years. That shared experience builds trust, speed, and accountability both on set and behind the scenes.
Just as important is the network around us, including freelancers, specialists, and vendors we’ve worked with repeatedly across projects.
A big part of production management is relationship building. The stronger the network, the smoother each new project becomes.
For overseas partners, this translates into confidence that the local team is stable, experienced, and ready to deliver.
A partner, not just a vendor
When international agencies look for a Thailand-based production house, they are not only looking for equipment or crew.
They are looking for a partner who can:
Represent their vision locally
Communicate clearly and professionally
Adapt quickly to changing needs
Deliver across multiple formats and timelines
The Riot Games collaboration with Good Boy showed how strong communication, a scalable team, and local expertise can support global productions seamlessly.
The right local partner does more than execute the work. They make producing in Thailand easier, more efficient, and more reliable from pre-production to final delivery.
